How It All Began

Our company was established by an outdoors enthusiast who recognized a need in the established Jeep aftermarket. He bought a Jeep Wrangler because he had always wanted one. And with a wife, three kids, and everything that goes along with a family….he needed the JK Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for its size. 

Being an outdoors enthusiast, it was always about more than the Jeep. While the Jeep is a big part of the experience, he also wanted to take his son canoeing. The removable top was great, but it didn’t allow for carrying the canoe. The minivan was definitely out. Sure, there were alternatives on the market, but they brought on comments, such as “Are you planning to park that in our driveway?”.

Needing a roof rack to accommodate his needs, he examined his options. He rejected racks that were welded together as a complete unit. While they met almost all of his needs, they also included features that he did not want or need – they were cumbersome and or difficult to remove.  Others were flimsy and did not seem like they would withstand the test of time.  His Jeep is something he is proud of; he wanted a rack he could be proud of.
